Open-source infrastructure for self-hosted AI and data.

We build the plumbing a team needs to run models and data on its own metal: an LLM gateway that speaks OpenAI and Anthropic protocols, self-hosted web applications, and local-first services — shipped as source you can run yourself.

Selected work

ezllm — multi-provider LLM gateway

Go · single static binary · OpenAI + Anthropic compatible

A self-hosted router that sits between your applications and every model provider. One endpoint, three pass-through surfaces — OpenAI chat completions, Anthropic messages, and OpenAI Responses — with namespace routing across multiple provider accounts, failover combos, and encrypted key storage.

Its ledger records every call and normalises token accounting across all three protocols, so cost and usage are attributable per account and per model instead of scattered across provider dashboards. An embedded dashboard serves the live call feed and budget controls.

waktusolat.me — prayer times & Qur'an

Live public service since 2022 · Bun + Elysia · MIT

A public web service serving Malaysian prayer times and the Qur'an in Malay and English. Its own API and caching layer sit in front of the official JAKI timetable source, and the same logic ships as cpray, an npm module other developers can drop into their own projects.

eziarr — missing-media manager

MIT · runs alongside Radarr / Sonarr / Lidarr

When standard indexers give up on a missing movie, show, or album, eziarr keeps hunting: manual and automated tooling that searches alternative sources — Telegram, the Internet Archive, open directories — inside your existing *Arr stack.

jnfo — a bird's-eye view for Jellyfin

ElysiaJS + Svelte 5 · most-starred project

Real-time insight into a Jellyfin server: who is streaming what right now, direct play versus transcode, library statistics, and a user roster — built to stay light where conventional monitoring tools get heavy.

How we build

Small, single-purpose services

A gateway is one static binary. A mail client is one process in front of IMAP. Fewer moving parts means fewer ways to fail at 3 a.m.

Self-hosted by default

Auth, caching, storage and scheduling live in your infrastructure — SQLite or Postgres, Docker, a reverse proxy you control. No vendor holding the keys.

Protocols over platforms

OpenAI and Anthropic wire formats, IMAP and SMTP, plain HTTP. If your tool speaks an open protocol, it works with ours — and you can leave whenever you like.

About

Calypso Cloud Research is the work of Mohammad Aimaan Abdul Latif, an engineer in Kuala Lumpur who has been building and operating web systems since 2021. Independent, small on purpose: design, build, deploy, and keep it running.

Everything published here is open source, and most of it runs in production on infrastructure we operate ourselves.
